Prenatal classes for couples

Classes can also be private or virtual on other days.

In-person is limited to 5 couples max.

5 WEEK CLASS

Each class has a theme. We work to include the birthing /support partner and make sure that the couples can make informed choices.

Class 1

Discussion about ideas surrounding pregnancy and birth, physical health, nutrition, formation of attachment, sexuality and important notes about what to be on the watch out for in case you think you’re in labor.

Class 2

Sleeping better, breathing (why is it so important?) exercise for baby in breech position, massage. (Please dress comfortably for exercises on breathing and massage done on mats)

Class 3

Packing list for the hospital, do I really need a birthing plan? Real or false labor, contractions, phases of labor, effacement and dilation and how to deal with pain during birth.

Class 4

Baby finances( what to buy and what not to spend), breastfeeding and choices, postpartum depression or baby blues, impact on the couple, can I ask for help? Sexuality after childbirth, physical health after childbirth- restrictions and care.

Class 5

Baby care, bath time, budget and diapers, health professionals for babies, interventions on the newborn- immediate postpartum, resources and daycare, legalities, safety (environment and car seat)

Laury Peroff

Laury Peroff has been involved with families in the community for over 25 years. 


Being a mother of three and now a grandmother, perinatality (everything that turns around future and young families) has always been a great passion. 


With over thirty certifications, Laury’s background has helped literally hundreds of families. Laury is a certified Doula and her background in psychology has equally been helpful in relational aid. She is certified for verification and installations of car seats and is an annual participant in “Bebe a Bord” road security program offered in St-Eustache, in partnership with the police department.
